Thursday, Feb. 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – after work comedy show
Broadway Comedy Club (318 W. 53rd Street, New York, NY 10019) will be the setting for an after work comedy show featuring some of New York City's funniest rising comedians. The stand up comedians have appeared on late night shows, comedy clubs and festivals across the country.
Here are the line up for stand up comedians.
Joseph DeVito has performed at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham," and NBC's Last Comic Standing
Kareem Green has appeared at BET, Showtime at the Apollo, Caroline's and Laugh Factory.
Marina Franklin has performed on the Chappelle Show and NBC's Last Comic Standing.
Andrew Kennedy has performed on Comedy Central
Veronica Mosey has performed on Comedy Central and on the Dr. Phil Show.
Ali Wong has appeared at the San Francisco Comedy Festival and Gotham Comedy Club.
There is a $20 cover.
There is also a two drink minimum
Part of the proceeds will be donated to support the American Red Cross and Moscatha.
The American Red Cross has 400 people on the ground in Haiti -- mobile hospitals, mental health, 43 search and rescue team. The money will be used for food, clothing, shelter, medical supplies and mobile toilets. www.redcross.org
Moscatha, a 501 (c) organization, was one of the first to arrive in Haiti after the devastating disaster occurred. Within the most critical hours following the quake, the non-profit has provided food, water and medical supplies to those who need them. The non-profit still needs medical supplies and people to help. www.moscatha.org
