Nestled in the Catskills, Windham Mountain offers beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders 46 trails – 30 percent beginner, 45 percent intermediate and 25 percent advanced/expert -- for day trip on the mountain.

During the last three years, Windham’s ownership has invested $10 million to enhance the resort with three new trails, four new lifts and snowmaking equipment. Windham Mountain has also added a bungee trampoline, rock climbing wall and ice skating center. Windham Mountain is located about 2 ½ hours from New York City.

Directions: Take the 4, 5, 6 or 7 trains to Grand Central Station and then exist at Vanderbilt and 42nd Street. You can also take the 1, 2, 3, N or R trains to Times Square and walk to 42nd and Vanderbilt or take the Shuttle train to Grand Central. You can also take the D or Q to 42nd Bryant Park and walk a few blocks to 42nd Street and Vanderbilt/Pershing Square.

Here are the different prices for the ski or snowboard trip.
$82 – beginner lift and ski or snowboard lesson and transportation (Note: ski and snowboard equipment is not included in the price.)
$92 – beginner lift, ski or snowboard lesson, equipment rental and transportation.
$81 – one day lift ticket and transportation (Note: ski or snowboard equipment is not included in this price)
$105 – one day lift ticket, transportation, ski or snowboard rental
